Great Decisions 2008 - Spring

The Mid-North Shepherd’s Center annually presents its Great Decisions lecture series each spring. Program topics mirror the annual Great Decisions series set forth by the Foreign Policy Association www.fpa.org, an independent, non-partisan, educational organization. The series contributes to citizen awareness, understanding and informed opinion on global issues facing U.S. foreign policy.
2008 Great Decisions Program Topics Included: 1. Iraq: Endgame (Feisal istrabadi) 2. U.S.-China Trade Policy (Dennis Kelley) 3. Talking to Our Enemies (Susan Erickson) 4. Private Philanthropy (Fran Quigley) 5. U.S. Defense and Security Policy (Sarah Archer) 6. Latin America: Shift to the Left (Craig Auchter) 7. European Union at 50 (Dave Mason) 8. Russia and "Putinism" (Ed Delaney) 9. Great Decisions Indeed: Why Indianapolis Needs its Own Foreign Policy (John Clark).

Domestic Decisions - Fall

The Mid-North Shepherd’s Center compliments its Great Decisions lecture series in the Spring with the Domestic Decisions lectures series in the Fall. Domestic Decisions explores important and timely issues facing our City, State and Nation.
The 2008 Domestic Decisions Series program topics will be selected in late summer.
